February marks the 10th anniversary of the United Sorority & Fraternity Council (USFC) at the University of Arizona! The USFC was established February, 20, 2007 by the founding chapters: Delta Lambda Phi, Gamma Alpha Omega, Kappa Delta Chi, Lambda Theta Phi, Pi Alpha Phi, Sigma Lambda Beta, and Sigma Lambda Gamma. Help us celebrate this occasion by supporting our current USFC members!

What Do USFC Members Need?

The United Sorority & Fraternity Council members come from different backgrounds, cultures, identities, ethnicities, and experiences. Most members are taking 15+ credit hours, have one or two part time jobs, and are involved in clubs and activities outside their chapter. The stress of being a successful and involved college student can be very difficult to balance. The USFC, with your help, wants to provide resources to both chapters and members so that they can be even more successful at the UA.

The three biggest needs and challenges chapters and their members face are:

1. Financial stability
2. Academic funding
3. Resources for chapter programming, including homecoming, Spring Fling, and recruitment/intake

How Can You Help?

The USFC has a goal of raising $4,500 and we need your financial help to get there. We want every chapter active/alumni, line/pledge class, past chapter executive boards, past USFC executive boards and presidents, and founding/charting classes to participate!  Our goal is to have 100% representation from each give to USFC! By giving you will make a major difference in your chapter's members and the USFC community at large. When we achieve our goal, you will make a significant impact in these specific ways:

1. Your philanthropy will allow for reduced dues for chapters and decrease what they pay in council or the FSP auxiliary dues. Most chapters have to either fundraise or ask other members for more money in order to pay on time. Not having to pay these dues will lift a huge burden off these chapters for a couple semesters.
2. Financial awards can be given to those chapters and members that achieve academic success. You can help chapters pay for academic incentives for their own members and members will have a few extra dollars to help them.  
3. Whether it's a tent rental for homecoming or flyers for recruitment/intake, all of those needs require money. You will be able to provide programming grants to chapters so that they can be financially successful for events like homecoming, spring fling, formals, and others.  

Why Help The USFC?

Your chapter's home is in the USFC. The USFC wants to continue to grow and prosper and we need your help to do so. Contributing to this campaign will make a direct impact in your chapter. As the second largest Greek council at the UA (5 fraternities, 10 sororities) the time to make an impact is now, the 10th Anniversary. No matter the letter we are all Greek together.
