This project has ended, but you can still support UA Campus Pantry here.
Food insecurity is a growing issue that affects many UA students. The Campus Pantry, which opened its doors in 2012, helps these students by providing healthy food for free! Each week, they serve approximately 550 students.
Can we count on you to support the Campus Pantry today? If you and 137 fellow Wildcats make a gift of $26, we can feed all 550 students for one week. Help us fill the Campus Pantry‘s shelves for our Wildcats!
Where the food comes from:
Donated canned and boxed items like soup, peanut butter, and pasta
Fresh vegetables are grown in the Student Union’s rooftop garden
Additional fresh fruit, vegetables, and proteins are purchased with funds from supporters like you!
Why we need the Campus Pantry:
Approximately 20 percent of undergraduate students across campus have reported skipping meals or eating less due to lack of money
Over 52 percent of students found themselves choosing unhealthy meals because more nutritious options were too expensive
