Rebekah was dedicated to the University of Arizona for over 10 years. Not only was she a leader and innovator in Financial Aid - she was also the first person to offer to help you. Thank you, Rebekah for your willingness to lend us a hand and cheer us on!
We launched Run for Rebekah in 2020 - to continue her legacy. 2020 was a hard year and the last time many of us were able to gather in her honor. Honor that special day full of hugs, laughter and community. We are excited to continue that tradition when it is safe again.
In 2019, Rebekah was honored with Tucson's 40 Under 40 award. An esteemed recognition of her dedication, generosity and hard work she shared with Southern Arizona. From her professional career to her endless involvement throughout the community, she made an impact. Honor Rebekah's generosity and commitment to our community.
Even in her passing, Rebekah was generous. Rebekah was an organ and tissue donor and improved the lives of hundreds of people and their loved ones with her last donation.
We know this is a longshot but Rebekah was always willing to try EVERYTHING to help students. She would say "if we don't ask, we will never know." Her tenacity and spirit would have pushed us to include this giving level because, if we don't ask - we will never know. Thanks for pushing us to work a little harder, Rebekah!
