As 2021 comes to a close the faculty, staff, and students at University of Arizona Law’s Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy (IPLP) Program want to thank all our generous supporters and share some exciting program developments. Thank you for a great year!     

The outpouring of support from our community is truly inspiring and something to be grateful for. Thanks to your generosity, we have 74 donations totaling $45,505 in support of Native law students attending University of Arizona Law.

Nearing the Finish Line

Dear Huerta Scholarship donors and ambassadors,

This year generosity lit up the world on #GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday reports that people contributed $2.7 billion to U.S. nonprofits and community organizations in 24 hours on #GivingTuesday 2021- a 9% increase from 2020.  You were a big part of the global generosity that GivingTuesday embodies. Thank you!

A big shout out to this year’s Huerta Scholarship ambassadors Deborah Sliz, Alan Yandow, Gabriela Magee, Justin Ruggieri, and Gabe Galanda who stepped up and provided a triple matching gift challenge and have been rallying support for this year’s campaign.

Thanks to your generosity and commitment to supporting Native law students we are approaching our $30,000 fundraising goal! Thus far, we have 56 donations totaling $23,253 in support of Native law students attending Arizona Law.
