2022 Collegiate Road Cycling Nationals

UA Cycling can bring home the national champion title with your help!

After a successful 2022 season, we're the heavy favorites heading into nationals, and we need your help to stay on top! 11 of us, six men and five women, have qualified for nationals in Augusta, Georgia, on May 6-8, 2022. We will use your gifts to cover our race entry fees, lodging, and meals to make the trip to Georgia with the best team possible!

Women's Team:
Cara O'Neill (defending road race champion)

Alexis White
Shelby Hoglund
Stephanie Bruggink
Mary Gordon

Men's Team:
Joey Iuliano
Ethan Krafft
Nick Petrov
James Eby
Finnley Hartz
Nikos Casto

Thanks to your generous support, our crowdfunding campaigns over the last three years raised nearly $16,000! These funds allowed all of our qualified riders to go to road nationals in Augusta, GA (2019), Grand Junction, CO (2017-18), and Asheville, NC (2016), where the team had some incredible performances! Some stats from the last national championships in 2019:
8 riders (5 men, 3 women), 2x national champion (Women's Road Race and Individual Omnium: Cara), 2nd Crit (Cara), 4th TTT (Men's and women's teams).
We were good stewards of the excess funds raised in 2019 and used it to send three riders to mountain bike and CX nationals, resulting in three top-ten finishes.

Racing in a national championship is an experience that can inspire riders to be lifelong cyclists and to strive to be the best student-athlete possible. This event is our team's chance to show why we are the best cycling team in the country, and you can help get us there! Will you help by making a gift today? Donations are tax-deductible!
