Promote future LGBTQIA+ health professional leaders to further health equity mission for LGBTQIA+ patients.
Increase the number of LGBTQIA+ healthcare educators and experts in the field to facilitate the design, implementation, evaluation and publication of LGBTQIA+ curricula content and better prepare students and healthcare providers to care for LGBTQIA+ patients.
Support the mission and values of UAHS LGBTQIA+ Interest Group in providing education, symposiums, awards and scholarships.
Create healthcare where LGBTQIA+ people are comfortable disclosing their sexual orientation or gender identity in healthcare settings without fear of discrimination or provider bias.
