Invest in the next 50 years of MIS!

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Department in the Eller College of Management is celebrating its 50th anniversary! To mark this momentous occasion, consider a financial donation to support the department’s next 50 years and beyond.

The MIS Department consistently ranks among the top five in the nation through generous contributions from friends, alumni and industry partners who are committed to our success. Your support maintains this momentum and amplifies our impact.

History of the Department

In 1974, Dr. Jay F. Nunamaker, Jr. founded the MIS Department at the University of Arizona. The world's first information systems curriculum was developed in partnership with the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and other schools. Today, the department offers two undergraduate majors, three master's programs, graduate certificates and a doctoral program.
