Help us keep our community sun safe and skin cancer free!

Join us in raising awareness about skin cancer and the need for sun safety. Avoiding too much sun, covering up and using sunscreen are the best ways to prevent skin cancer. Early detection is also important, so examine your skin monthly for any changes. When skin cancer is caught early, it is usually very treatable.

You can help us celebrate the month of May:

  • Join us at participating restaurants throughout May (see below).
  • Protect and check your skin for skin cancer.
  • Watch short videos that will be posted on the "Updates" tab above.
  • Donate to help us continue our mission to prevent and cure skin cancer

The Skin Cancer Institute (SCI) is a non-profit organization, so we need your help to continue our mission to prevent and cure skin cancer. Please help us reach our goal of $1,000. Every donation is appreciated!

Thanks to participating businesses, we will be fundraising at a few restaurants this month:

The Graduate: 4pm-7pm on May 5th. 930 E. 2nd St.

Panda Express: All day on May 7th. 20% of sales go to the SCI at 1303 E. University location only.

Eegee’s: 4pm-7pm on May 21st. 15% of sales go to the SCI at 2510 E. Speedway Blvd. location only. **Tell them the Skin Cancer Institute sent you!**

Come back every week in May for more video presentations from our faculty and staff.
