Our Crowdfunding Groups
Each year, the Investments Club sends students to New York to visit alumni at top financial firms. It started in 2012 with five students, and this spring we sent 28 students. The trip affords the group the opportunity to learn about the industry, schedule face-to-face meetings, and envision themselves working and living in the city. Many past participants work in New York after graduation, thanks in large part to the trip.
The trip costs ~$1,000 per student, which is prohibitive to many students. Our goal is to raise money to reduce the student out-of-pocket cost to $400. Your contribution is tax deductible and will go toward reducing the cost for students, which opens access to those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it.
