Kevin Duane Myers

Kevin Duane Myers died on August 16, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 57.

Kevin was born on July 18, 1969, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He left Canada on his fourth birthday when his family moved to Paradise Valley, Arizona. Arizona was his home for the rest of his life.

Kevin worked at HomeGoods, part of the TJ Maxx company, where he was the longest tenured employee at his store. Whenever the store allowed it, he energetically came to work in costume for holidays and special occasions. Coworkers and regular customers knew him for it.

Family was the center of Kevin’s life. He adored his relatives and stayed close to all of them. He sent cards for every birthday to family members. He loved the holidays, and he always thought hard about the gifts he gave to others.

Kevin was a lifelong Star Trek fan. He also adored Nolan Ryan and collected anything connected to him. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Roy Myers, M.D., his grandparents, two aunts, and three uncles.

He is survived by his mother, Catherine Weekley; his stepfather, Melvin Weekley; his brother, Michael R. Myers, and Michael’s wife, Michelle, of Tucson, Arizona; his niece, Tess R. Myers Ciampaglio, and her husband, Adam, of New York; his nephew Matthew R. Myers and his wife, Tiersa, of Phoenix; and his nephew Garrett J. Myers of Tucson. He also leaves many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

His family and friends will fondly remember his smile, laugh, the endless trivia that he remembered, and the attention he paid to the people he loved.
