We did it! Thanks to your support, we ended our month of crowdfunding with $31,141 to help fund our educational staff for field trip programs for the 2017-18 year. These dollars will be combined with grants from local foundations to meet Cooper's operational needs.
Stay tuned for a thank you message from Cooper Director Colin Waite later this week. We could not have met our goal without you!
We maxed out our dollar for dollar matching challenge and our mystery donor added their $5,000 to the campaign! We're now less than $5,000 from our goal. Watch and share this video as we head down the home stretch!
Dear Cooper Supporters,
As of this moment, we are just shy of $20,000 with a week to go in our fundraising campaign. Thank you for everything you've done so far to support Camp Cooper. Our goal is to raise $30,000 by May 1st. These funds, when combined with grants and other sources of funding, will be used directly for salaries and benefits for the educational staff for our field trip programs.
There is still time for donors to have their gifts matched by an anonymous contributor. Gifts will be matched until the end of the day on Wednesday, April 26th, and we need to raise about $600 more to maximize the match. Please share our appeal with friends, family members, and professional colleagues so that they may join you in supporting our work. The donation page is http://crowdfund.arizona.edu/cooper2017.
With your help, I know our campaign will be successful! Thank you for being a part of sharing the wonders of the Sonoran Desert with more than 3,000 kids each year!

As of Monday morning, we have raised over $10,000 with gifts from 69 donors! Thank you once again for your gift, as well as any efforts you have made to share our campaign. Be on the lookout for another update tomorrow with a new matching challenge opportunity! Remember, these gifts will directly fund our educational team for 2017-18 field trips. We've raised $5,891 so far towards our goal of raising $30,000 by May 1st in support of our educational staffing for next year. Thank you to the 45 people who have donated so far and to everyone who has shared our campaign.
We have a NEW challenge this week! An anonymous donor who lives near Camp Cooper will donate $50 for every share on social media between now and next Monday, April 17th, up to $5,000! That's 100 shares from our Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/coopercenter/ or from our Twitter @CCJackrabbit. Be sure to add a personal message as to why you support Camp Cooper and why others should donate as well. Help us find all those Camp Cooper lovers out there!
On behalf of the Camp Cooper team and all the teachers and students that we serve, thank you!
