The University of Arizona Men's Lacrosse program is a club team that competes in the Southwest Lacrosse Conference (SLC) of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). Being a club team means that we receive virtually no University funding! Rather, our team is funded by athlete dues, alumni donations, and coordinated player fundraising. For the 2017-2018 season, we have a goal to raise $25,000 required to cover 2017-2018 team expenses. Can we count on you?
We Need Your Support!
As players, we each pay dues of $3,000 per year which does not cover all expenses for our program. You can see a detailed breakdown of our expenses in the graphs below. Team travel costs alone for the season are expected to approach $70,000! And just so you know, we all travel by bus to California, Texas and Utah. We will not take any flights in 2018. We hope you will consider giving what you can to help our team close our budgetary gap. If you are not in a position to donate, simply forwarding or sharing this campaign page with anyone whom you think may be interested will go a long way in helping us achieve our goal. Donations are tax deductible and 100% of funds raised will go directly to the team. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Who We Are
Arizona Men's Lacrosse competes in the toughest conference in the country and against some of the top MCLA programs. This fall, we've been practicing three times a week and are now beginning our strength and agility program that will run until we leave campus for holiday break. The competitive Spring season begins in January, which consists of practice six days a week along with games from February to May. The regular season concludes in April, followed by post season tournaments for those teams that qualify. The team qualified for the post season last year and we expect to do so again in 2018! GO CATS!
