2018 Collegiate Road Cycling Nationals

We've hit our goal! But there are always surprises costs. Any funds raised above the original goal will be used to ensure the trip remains as low cost to the riders as possible and will be saved for future national championships in the fall.

Help UA Cycling Finish Number 1 in the Nation!

We head into the 2018 road national championships ranked number one in the nation! Our wins at cyclocross nationals in January and 6th place at BMX nationals in March have placed us at the top. Our team has never finished ranked first in the nation- this is our chance! But, we need to get to nationals first...

Eight of us, four men and four women, qualified for nationals in Grand Junction, Colorado which will be held May 4-6, 2018 and we need your support to take advantage of this opportunity. We will use your gifts for our race entry fees, lodging and meals to make the trip to Colorado with the best team possible! You can view the full roster on our website.

Thanks to your generous support, our crowdfunding campaigns each of the last two years raised nearly $7,000 dollars. This allowed all of our qualified riders to go to nationals in Grand Junction, CO (2017) and Asheville, NC (2016) and the team had some incredible performances! Some stats from the 2017 national championships: Stats: 9 riders (6 men, 3 women) 1x national title (Erica Clevenger, road race) 3x 2nd place- ITT, Criterium, Omnium (Erica) 2x 6th place- men’s TTT (David, Josh, Joey, Nikita), and men’s crit (David) 2x10th place- men’s ITT and crit (Josh), and 3rd in the team omnium.

Racing in a national championship is an experience which can inspire riders to be lifelong cyclists and to strive to be the best student-athlete possible. This is our team’s chance to show why we are the best cycling team in the country and you can help get us there! Will you help by making a gift today? Donations are tax deductible!
