Borders and Boundaries: Finding and Redefining Our Limits
This summer, our New Start students will test the boundaries of their own limits as they introduce themselves to the research life of the university.
The New Start Summer Program provides an opportunity for incoming freshman to take classes, work with peer leaders, and engage in various academic and extracurricular programs to make their transition to the UA successful. One of the key parts of New Start is our two day Academic Conference, where selected students present their original research around the theme of the summer. This year's theme, Borders and Boundaries: Finding and Redefining Our Limits, will have students defining and analyzing the ways in which we use borders and boundaries to create space between us or bring us closer together.
What is your role in Borders and Boundaries?
Your support will provide scholarships to the winning conference presenters to be awarded for this Fall! Awards are given for the top presentations on Innovation, Research and Analysis. Last year, thanks to generous supporters like you, we were able to provide all nine Academic Conference winners with scholarships! Can we count on you to make a gift to support New Start students' outstanding academic achievements?
