Stretch goal! We cruised through our initial goal of $3,500 and have extended it out $4,500. We do more than just compete at road nationals and additional funds raised will help send riders to mountain, cyclocross, and hopefully track and BMX nationals! After a successful 2018 season, we're the heavy favorites heading into 2019, and we need your help to stay on top! Nine of us, six men and three women, have qualified for nationals in Augusta, Georgia on May 10-12, 2019. We will use your gifts to cover our race entry fees, lodging, and meals to make the trip to Georgia with the best team possible! You can view the full roster on our website.
Thanks to your generous support, our crowdfunding campaigns the last three years raised nearly $12,000. These funds allowed all of our qualified riders to go to road nationals in Grand Junction, CO (2017-18) and Asheville, NC (2016), where the team had some incredible performances! Some stats from the 2018 national championships: 9 riders (4 men, 5 women), 1x national title (Women's TTT: Shelby, Cara, Chloe, and Kat), 5th in the women's road race (Cara), 3rd overall in the team competition, and 1st in the nation across all 5 national championships. We were good stewards of the excess funds raised last year and used it to send two riders to mountain bike nationals, resulting in two top 20 finishes. Additionally, we sent 4 riders to cyclocross nationals, where we defended our team relay title.
Racing in a national championship is an experience which can inspire riders to be lifelong cyclists and to strive to be the best student-athlete possible. Steeped with mechanical knowledge and prepared with every tool under the sun, the mechanic works long hours to keep the racer's machines in top shape. A $53 gift ensures our bikes are in tip-top racing shop! (9 needed). You’ll receive: the above, plus a signed team photo. (53 is also the size of the outer chainring on our bikes!)
/dɔ.mɛs.tik/ noun / Definition in English: the domestique is the loyal teammate- willing to sacrifice their own success for the good of the team. A $75 gift covers one rider's entry fee. The more we have in a race, the better we can support our team leaders! (26 needed- 9 in the road race; 8 in the crit; 8 for the time trial; 1 for the ITT). You’ll receive: all the above, plus an invite to join the team for coffee to hear about the race.

The directors make the team run like a well-oiled machine. $125 covers one night of lodging (3 needed). You’ll receive: all the above, plus an invite to dinner with the team after the race weekend to celebrate our success!
Definition in English: The team champion is who the domestiques ride in support of and they are the one with the best chances of winning the race. $200 will get us part of the way to Augusta, GA with gas and rental fees (4 needed)! You’ll receive: all the above, plus an invite to join the team on a group ride after the race weekend.
