Thank you to everyone who has made a gift to support our Chemistry "Magic" Shows. Due to your generosity, we have currently raised enough to cover the costs associated with 27 "magic" shows!
With two days to go, we have just $1,650 to go in order to reach our goal.
Please consider sharing the https://crowdfund.arizona.edu/cbcmagic link with your friends and family and ask them to join you in supporting this project with a gift of any size.
Below, we hope you'll enjoy a few photos from our most recent "Magic" Show, held on campus on November 16th. You can find us on Facebook by searching @UAChemistryClub to see more images and to learn about future events.
We are grateful to those of you who have joined us as early investors in this project—thank you!
Please join me and the rest of the UA Chemistry Club (shown in this lovely photo!) for a special Homecoming “Magic” Show on Saturday, November 2nd at 11am. You’ll find us in Room 111 of the Chemistry Building (1306 E University Boulevard, building number 41 on the U of A campus map). The show is suitable for all ages, so bring the whole family for some chemistry fun!
Since it is Homecoming Weekend and the football game starts at 1:30pm, here’s some information on game day parking.
We hope to see you then! Thanks again for your generous support.

A gift of any size is greatly appreciated! Our CBC student magicians are great stewards of the resources they have and are happy to stretch your gift to have the greatest impact it can for their outreach.
Your gift of $25 will allow our CBC student magicians to purchase all of the chemicals they need to wow the crowds for a single magic show.
Your gift of $50 could cover all the costs associated with a single "magic" show, including chemicals, safety equipment, and travel costs for the CBC student magicians. The enthusiasm, energy and planning from our CBC students is free!
Your gift of $100 could cover all the costs associated with two "magic" shows, including chemicals, safety equipment, and travel costs for the CBC student magicians. Our students are passionate about piquing the curiosity of young future scientists, many of whom are eager to return for a second show!
Your gift of $250 could cover all the costs associated with five "magic" shows, including chemicals, safety equipment, and travel costs for the CBC student magicians. CBC student magicians who are most active have the opportunity to attend the spring ACS national meeting free of charge for networking, poster presentations, and attending talks!
Last year, our CBC student magicians held 42 "magic" shows. This year, they hope to increase that to 50! With a gift of $400, your generosity could cover the cost of all EIGHT extra shows and allow them to reach more future chemists and biochemists.
