2026 Collegiate Road Cycling Nationals
2026 Collegiate Road Cycling Nationals
UA Cycling aims for the top step with your help!
After a successful year of recruiting and development, we're one of the favorites heading into road nationals in Madison, Wisconsin, on May 8-10, 2026, and we need your help to get there! We will use your gifts to cover our race entry fees, lodging and meals to make the trip to Wisconsin with the best team possible!
Traveling to a national championship is an expensive ask! In 2025, the average cost per rider was $1,100 per rider for entry fees, travel, and lodging. With nationals in Madison for the second year, travel costs will remain high for this year. Total trip costs will be around $10,000. We've already raised $2,000 from hosting races this spring, but we hope you can help us close the gap!
The final team roster will be announced in late March, so stay tuned!
Thanks to your generous support, our crowdfunding campaigns over the last eight years raised over $46,000! These funds allowed all of our qualified riders to go to road nationals in Madison, WI (2025), Albuquerque, NM (2023-24), Augusta, GA (2019-22), Grand Junction, CO (2017-18), and Asheville, NC (2016), where the team had some incredible performances! Some stats from the last national championships in 2025:
10 riders (6 men, 4 women)
3rd in the team omnium
2nd women's road race- Emmi Gilbert
4th women's crit- Emmi Gilbert
3rd women's team time trial- Emmi, Mary Gordon, Elise Ala, and Cass Frost

Racing in a national championship is an experience that can inspire riders to be lifelong cyclists and to strive to be the best student-athlete possible. This event is our team's chance to show why we are one of the best cycling teams in the country, and you can help get us there!
Will you help by making a gift today? Donations are tax-deductible! All donors will receive a thank you letter, team photo, and listed on our website.
