National Champions!
We're back from Madison, and what a trip it was!
We returned with not one, not two, but THREE national titles:
-women's road race: Emmi Gilbert
-women's crit*: Emmi Gilbert
-women's individual omnium: Emmi Gilbert
*first in team history

Women's road results:
1 Emmi Gilbert
17 Anika Visser
25 Avery Paris
DNF Elise Ala
Women's crit:
1 Emmi Gilbert
6 Anika Visser
23 Avery Paris
DNF Elise Ala
We also netted a third place in the women's team time trial and 7th in the men's TTT. Both the men's and women's teams displayed superb team tactics in the road race and crit- riding like teams that have raced together for years. For the women, Anika, Elise, and Avery went for early moves to set up attacks from Emmi. Once she was away, Anika played a key role in disrupting the field's chase.
On the men's side, Angus Rate delivered the performance of the day in the road race by featuring in nearly every move to keep pressure off our team from chasing. In the crit, Matan Sopher and Joe Pifel patrolled the front and jumped across the dangerous moves or helped chase them in. Unfortunately, some crashes in the men's races (all of our guys are fine!) derailed the guys' plans for the finish.
Men's road:
35 Matan Sopher
36 Bennett Chambers
49 Angus Rate
73 Mason Tuckenhagen
84 Joe Pifel
Men's Crit:
36 Joe Pifel
55 Angus Rate
59 Matan Sopher
61 Bennett Chambers
82 Mason Tuckenhagen
Overall, the team finished 5th in the omnium! All of this was possible thanks to your support, which gave our riders this wonderful experience and helped them all push themselves further than they have before and discover what they are truly capable of as a team.

Thank you for your support!
