Remember that time you visited the THINK TANK? You’ve come a long way, but some things haven’t changed—it continues to be THE place to go for academic support at the UA. 60% of the Class of 2017 used THINK TANK services at some point in their UA experience, and we can increase that number for future classes. We were here for you and we want to be here for those following your path.
How You Can Help?
98% of THINK TANK users would recommend tutoring to a classmate. Imagine if we could expand our hours to accommodate all of those additional students!
To do it, we need your help. By combining gifts large and small, we can hire and train more certified tutors to expand our hours at Bear Down Gym.
Even Wilma takes advantage of drop-in tutoring at the THINK TANK in Bear Down Gym!
Thanks to you, we get to open an hour earlier one day to serve students who line up for help before our doors even open (it happens every day—math never sleeps!).
It is a great year! Acknowledge it by sponsoring two paid hours of College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) Certified Tutor Training.
A dollar a week for the year will add an extra hour of daily tutoring for one week. Imagine! The week you paid for tutoring—what a legacy!
With your $100, 40 students will be able to spend 15 minutes of one-on-one drop-in time with a tutor.
