You did it!

April 20, 2017

Working together, the Class of 2017 contributed $2124 to support expanded drop-in math tutoring hours in 2017-18. With that funding we can:

  • Provide an additional hour of drop-in tutoring every day for 15 weeks in both the Fall '17 and Spring '18 semesters. That's 180 hours of tutoring!
  • Train new tutors to work during these additional hours
  • Serve up to 720 more students during the expanded hours

From all of us at the THINK TANK: Thank you for your gifts!

Students helping students

April 17, 2017

Your gifts don't just provide drop-in tutoring to any UA student—they also support on-campus student employment opportunities. During the academic year we have about 200 student employees who are better able to support themselves, stay in school, and balance job and classes because they work on campus. Their contributions to the THINK TANK are invaluable!

One of our fabulous student workers is Alexa Frisch. Read her profile in UA@Work to learn more about her duties and her favorite part of the job.

UA Graduation Bucket List - Check It Out!

April 11, 2017

Commencement is just four weeks away. Don't forget to take time to check off some items on your UA Graduation Bucket List. You sure don't want to miss out on making a few more memories.

Before you head out of here - we want to thank you for your donation to the 2017 Class Gift and paying it forward to the next generations of Wildcats. Your generosity will help make accessible critical tutoring services to students who need them. Now that is a true Bear Down tradition!

A wee limerick about math tutoring

April 06, 2017

We're all excited about the extended math tutoring hours in Fall '17 made possible by your gifts! One of our math tutors, Jessie Meilech, wrote a poem to commemorate reaching the milestone of an additional hour of drop-in tutoring every day next semester.

(What, you were expecting a sonnet? We're not Shakespeare, but we do like to have fun with words.)

More tutoring every day!

March 29, 2017

We've reached an important milestone: 90 additional tutoring hours funded!

We can now offer additional math tutoring six days a week for 15 weeks in Fall ’17. That's every week leading up to final exams. Thanks to you, we can open earlier every day to serve the students who are always lined up, waiting for our tutoring rooms to open.

Thank you!

Giving Back - It's a Wildcat Thing!

March 13, 2017

Did you know that 78% of our undergraduate student body made a charitable gift last year? Wildcats care about the community and about each other.

The UA Class Gift Program is built on the foundation of Wildcats supporting Wildcats. Class of 2017 - the power of our numbers and our gifts, no matter the size, will leave a lasting legacy for current and future students.

Skip one small luxury every year, and your gift can "pay it forward" to help another student succeed at UA. Bear Down!
