Valeria Guadalupe Martinez took the Middle Eastern studies class at Cholla high school 6 years ago. She has since graduated from high school and went on to do a double major in Middle Eastern and North African Studies and Mexican American studies at the University of Arizona where she graduated in 2015. She is currently working full-time at the University of Arizona in enrollment management in the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions office. She will also be finishing up her M.A. degree in Information and Library Science next semester.
